The Son of david
What kind of king and what kind of kingdom are we asking for when we pray this prayer Jesus taught us to pray? A study of the Old Testament historical books-Joshua through Esther-enables us to see the Kingdom of God not only as it once was, but also as it is now, and as it will be one day. We will trace the history of the people of God from the time they entered the promised land through a series of failed kings, exile, and finally their return to await the true king. We will see Jesus as:
- the greater Joshua who leads his people into rest
- the greater Boaz who has done all that is necessary to redeem
- the greater king who will sit on David's throne forever
- the great restorer who is building his church from ruined stones
Gain a fresh perspective on Israel's history and God's kingdom, a broader understanding of Jesus as the fulfillment of Scripture, and much more when you join with Nancy Guthrie on this incredible journey to see Jesus in the Old Testament.
ezekiel & second corinthians
Ezekiel uses vivid prophecies and provocative images to confront God’s rebellious people. Yet this Book also offers practical insight into how God’s people interact with an unbelieving world today.
In Second Corinthians, Paul viewed the Corinthian Church as a growing child to which he could provide fatherly direction. We can learn much from Paul about what it means to affirm and to practice what we believe.
whisper - how to hear the voice of god
Many people have a tough time believing God still speaks. Sure, in ancient times and in mysterious ways, God spoke to His people, but is He still speaking now? Mark Batterson points out the seven love languages of God; each of them unique and entirely divine. Some of them you might suspect but others will surprise you. By learning to tune in to and decipher each language, you’ll be able to hear His guidance in simple as well as life-altering choices. God is actively speaking...make sure you know how to listen!

This group “stitches” a variety of articles for various needs.
Moms time out
Being a mom is hard! Moms of young children are often running on empty because they are giving to everyone else. Who is giving to Mom? We will take a “Time Out” to encourage young moms, offer support, grow friendships and experience a deeper walk with Jesus Christ. If you need a “Time Out,” come and join us.
Wise & Wonderful
The Wild, Wise & Wonderful Group recognizes a need for fun and fellowship for those of us who are “Older Kids.” Our monthly outing will consist of a short devotion time and a planned activity. Activities will consist of fellowships, game nights, picnics, etc. We are also open to your suggestions. Meetings will be at various times and days to accommodate many.
